Job Requirements:
* Ideally ACCA qualified accountant.
* Qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen
* A team player who can also work autonomously, taking the initiative and assuming responsibility with minimal managerial direction in the context of a growth organisation.
* Financial modelling experience.
* Understanding of risk identification and quantification.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* A can do attitude as roles incorporates many different work streams.
* Strong team and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
* Articulate and a clear communicator, who can clearly represent issues and recommend solutions to a finance and non-finance audience, and can develop constructive relationships with a broad range of customers and interfaces.
* Flexibility and motivation to meet tight deadlines when required.
* Have the capability to grow with an expanding business.
* Strong excel skills essential, Power Point knowledge beneficial.

Job Description: This role is key to the future development and growth of the business, and we seek intellectual capability, commercial insight, and the ability to critique concepts whilst developing solutions

* Identify issues, costings and forward plan.
* Exploring and challenging operational drivers with particular focus on improving profitability.
* Prepare sensitivity models to drive management decision making in areas such as stock ordering and resource management.
* Assisting the finance manager in tender support and evaluating various propositions.
* Take the lead on discussions with the operational team during business planning and forecasting cycles as well as consolidating and presenting output.
* Responsible for the preparation of the MBR packs for the monthly review with the MD of BGNE. Input into improving content of these presentations.
* Assisting in the month end close process as required.
